The only suitable solution for a Centurion
14 October 2025
I was fortunate enough to receive a Tongde Centurion as a gift. But after about 5 minutes became frustrated with the inadequate board that is some sort of copy to a Henglong board that was faulty out the box. After a few minutes online I was made aware of the Haya version of a Clark board specific for a Centurion. As with many into RC tanks I have a Flysky FSi-6s or 5 piled up for projects. So it's possibly a happy mistake this special edition exists. The really annoying part here is that it's slightly complicated by the fact the board is configured for the Haya Flysky Transmitter. This is possibly the only flaw as after a quick look on forums it seems to be the most complicated set up. Many seem to have a grip with this. Thankfully after a quick email to Mr Haya I was informed that if I buy the "Sony remote" clone kit I can select the settings. My only point here I want to suggest to to be helpful for customers is that if on the purchase page you could select the configuration it would be practically plug and play. I really don't want to have a TV remote just collecting dust for the odd occasion I need to change setting at a later date. My final point here is that if this mention board is good I'm probably going to buy a Haya Centurion to do many modification to it. Simply the incorrect audio really grinds my gears.
