A lockdown special! After a few years of making models, mostly aircraft, I was excited by watching items on u-tube, I decided on the Challenger 2. What a beast, the platinum version weighs a ton, straight out of the box it looked awesome very realistic, There are loads and I mean loads of parts to fix onto make it even more realistic. I was surprised that they were all press fit, however I needn't have worried all but one fitted perfect and the one that didn't was my fault cutting it off the spree. 4 hours later, battery charged, marking etc. resplendent, ready to go. A few minutes getting used to the controls and I drove my wife daft! A fabulous model (although I have the upgrading further bug!) Very realistic with engine noise, exhaust and canon/machine gun sounds with various modes of running available. The canon fires BB balls nearly 75ft. with adjustable recoil. I do think that running over rough terrain it may be prudent to glue in some of the smaller parts, we shall see. A great model, fantastic detail and even better running.
